The France-India AI Summit at the Automobile Club de France, held on December 13, 2024, was a landmark moment in strengthening AI collaboration between France and India. We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this event impactful.

Event Highlights:
Opening Remarks by Bénédicte Brouard, President of Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie Franco Indienne, with powerful keynotes from Clara Chappaz, Anne Bouverot, and H.E. Amb. Jawed Ashraf, set the stage for the day’s discussions.
Panel 1: Public Interest AI, moderated by Coumar ANANDA, Vice President of Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie Franco Indienne, and Vice President at Tech Mahindra, featured speakers Lionel Bascles, Senior Vice President, Sanofi, Laure Lucchesi, Former Director, EtaLab, French Prime Minister’s Office, Abhishek Jha, Head of Europe AI & Automation, Tech Mahindra, and Francis Lelong, CEO, Group Alegria, who explored the role of AI in societal welfare and public services.
Panel 2: AI as an Accelerator for Innovation, moderated by Souad Tenfiche-Ancelle, Member of the Supervisory Board of the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie Franco Indienne and Co-president of La French Tech India, brought together Fabrice Asvazadourian, CEO, Sopra Steria Next, Shashi Bhushan, Chief Technology Officer, Tata Consultancy Services, Pratyush Sinha, AI Innovation Lead, Decathlon, and Ashok Krishnan, Chief Innovation Officer, AXA XL, to showcase the transformative impact of AI across industries.
Closing remarks by Eenam Gambhir, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, Paris, eloquently set the stage for the upcoming AI Global Summit in France, February 2025, and India’s agenda for AI leadership.
This summit not only fostered dynamic discussions but also set the stage for the AI Global Summit in Paris, France, in February 2025, where India will be the country of honour, underscoring its leadership in AI innovation and cooperation.
